This is my favourite Blants product. I buy it in bulk and mostly use in place of laundry powder. I’m highly susceptible to mould and borax works well for those of us with CIRS to keep our textiles clean and mould free. I also therefore have to wash everything at 60 degrees or more. I usually just put the borax in the prewash drawer and place a little bag of soap berries in the drum. And that is all it takes to do the job. It’s terrific, simple and cost effective.

Add this directly into machine with clothes as a boost to my front loader wash loads. Clothes are clean and very importantly the machine is too. We had a service done on our machine and the technician was amazed for the age of the machine and the fact that it is a front loader (front loaders are notoriously mouldy) that it was so clean. I put it down to using this product together with leaving the door ajar when not in use. I also use it as a paste for small mould spots in the shower grout – wipe it away after a few hours then rinse – works great.
