Himalayan Black Salt – Coarse 1kg

Description

Himalayan Black Salt – sourced from the volcanic regions of the Himalayas in Pakistan, also known as Kala Namak, is a very distinct gourmet rock salt, long appreciated in Eastern cultures that has finally made its way to the west. Due to its unique mineral composition, it presents as a striking black colour in its natural state.  As it is crushed and milled the hues change from black to deep violet to deep pink.

Upon opening, its tangy, pungent aroma is often likened to boiled eggs. No surprise there, since sulphur, abundant in eggs, is one of its minerals. When added to food one experiences a whole new culinary delight. No wonder so many Eastern cultures use it abundantly in food and drinks. Just a pinch goes a long way to enhance food flavour.

Blants Food grade Natural Black salt is free from environmental pollutants, with no additives, colourants, flavouring or flow agents, is non-GMO and fumigation-free. It contains oodles of trace elements and minerals not found in sea table salt that your body may be craving.
